In August this year, Aquila Asia – the world's first English-language fashion and lifestyle magazine for cosmopolitan Muslim women in Southeast Asia – hosted its inaugural event held in the company of some of Jakarta's most respected movers and shakers in the beauty, medical, wellness, travel, fashion, banking, finance and media industries. The esteemed guests braved poor weather conditions to grace the event, held at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Indonesia Grand Kempinski for an evening of iftar accompanied by a showcase of fabulous Muslimwear. Among the prominent guests were Dr Enrina Diah and Annie Massewa, and this event was made possible with support from Ultimo Aesthetic & Dental Center, Garuda Indonesia, CIMB Niaga Syariah, Up2date, Elizabeth Arden and Coach.
